Degree Programs for Thomas More College

Associate Degrees

Associate of Elected Studies

The Associate of Elected Studies (AES) program curriculum provides an avenue for adult students with little or no college experience to earn a degree at the associate and/or bachelor's level in an accelerated format.

Bachelor's Degrees

Bachelor of Business Administration

In the fall of 1993, Thomas More College introduced an accelerated Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree for working professionals. Since then, thousands of students have enrolled in the Thomas More Accelerated Program (TAP). TAP students may complete their BBA in as little as 24 months, depending upon their previous college experience. BBA concentrations are available in personal finance, marketing and management.

The Bachelor of Business Administration in Health Care Management (BBA-HCM) degree program is designed to prepare students for further graduate study or a variety of entry and mid-level career and leadership opportunities in the global and dynamic health care services arena. The program is also designed to prepare the student for opportunities that address the needs and demands involved in the operation of health services in a variety of settings.

Bachelor Elected Studies -  Communication

  • Blended format with online options
  • Major coursework for COMM is offered in a lock step/online/ format 6-week courses  (no study team requirement) up to 63 hours online toward degree requirements.

The degree program in Communication prepares students for graduate school, business, public relations, media and other related careers. The degree offers a broad core of communication courses that will give you a foundation in human and mediated communication.

 RN to BSN Program

  • Accelerated 8 week course sequence takes approximately 15 months to complete
  • Take one in-class course which meets once a week 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Take an online course offered concurrent to the in-class session

The baccalaureate nurse is prepared to function independently in a variety of health care settings as well as interdependently with other members of the health care team. Baccalaureate nursing education fosters one's acceptance of responsibility for self learning and for continuing personal and professional growth. Graduates are prepared for leadership roles in nursing. The accelerated RN-BSN degree program will help you reach your professional goals, through a trusted program while enabling you to balance your work and home responsibilities.

Since 1996, Thomas More College has helped professionals throughout the Greater Cincinnati area complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees while maintaining their professional and personal commitments. MBA students have found it both convenient and rewarding to complete their education in about 18 months with other area professionals. The curriculum is offered in a lock-step format, meaning students may choose one night a week for classes and maintain that same night throughout the completion of their degree. The Master's Project in the Thomas More curriculum allows students to apply business research techniques in a very hands-on approach. Students find that this allows them to establish a critical link between academic theory and business application. 

Master of Arts in Teaching

  • Semester based format for those interested in teacher certification.


The Master of Arts in Teaching is designed for those currently teaching with a Temporary Provisional Certificate, who holds a Bachelor's Degree with a certifiable major or those with certifiable majors in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Social Studies, or English, who want to acquire their teacher certification. Candidates who are in track II must participate in a non-paid, 15-week supervised teaching experience during their final semester.  Candidates should understand that this 7:30 am to 4:30 pm commitment means that they cannot have fulltime employment during this period.

Master of Education

  • Semester based, hybrid-format designed with teachers in mind.

The Master of Education Teacher Leader program is designed with busy teachers in mind: hybrid classes, job embedded projects, and flexible scheduling. The program bridges classroom experiences with professional learning communities, teacher leadership, and 21st century skills for all candidates.
